Reducing fractions to lowest terms

A fraction is in lowest terms when the numerator and denominator have no common factor other than 1. For example, if we examine the fraction 25/50, we can reduce this fraction by dividing both the numerator and denominator by their common factor, 25. 25/25=1 and 50/25=2 then 25/50=1/2. which is a fraction in its lowest terms.
