Multiplying the same number with the numerator and denominator of a fraction.

$$\frac{2}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{2\times \sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}\times \sqrt{2}}$$

Multiplying the same number with the numerator and denominator of a fraction.

$$\frac{2}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{2\times \sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}\times \sqrt{2}}$$

Multiplying the same numbers together.
